CHRISTMAS THOUGHTS

* Be the first to wish everyone you meet a Merry Christmas.
* Don't count calories from December 15th through January 2nd.
* Mend a broken relation with someone during holidays.
* Make an effort to attend every Christmas party you're invited to, even if you can only stay a few minutes.
* Let go of a problem you can't solve. Enjoy the season.
* Before going to bed on Christmas Eve, read by candle light about the birth of Jesus in Luke 2.
* Before going to bed every night of the Christmas season, ask yourself, "Whose life did I make brighter today?"
* Call a nursing home and get the name of 5 people who don't often receive mail. Send each one a Christmas card and sign it "from Santa".
* Tell your children and grandchildren about Christmas when you were their age.
* Attend a Christmas Eve service with your family.
* Don't wait for someone else to spread Christmas Joy.
* Open Christmas cards as a family activity eacg night at the dinner table. Read the messages aloud.
* Remember that the loving holiday spirit in your home depends more on the words you speak that on the gifts you give.
* Don't let a rude person steal your Christmas joy.
* Don't try to do everything yourself. Remember, even Santa needs helpers.
* After opening the presents, hug all your family members and tell them they are the best gift of all.
* Don't forget whose Birthday we're celebrating :)

REALTORS®, the American homeowner needs your help in defeating a proposal to limit and possibly eliminate the Mortgage Interest Deduction.

Please use the link below to directly contact your legislative representative. Make sure they know who you are and hit the key points below:
• I am a constituent and a REALTOR®.
• I have been on the front lines of the housing crisis. I can assure you that even talk of changing MID harms an already fragile market.
• I am strongly opposed to the Deficit Commission's proposal to limit or eliminate the Mortgage Interest Deduction.
• News reports saying that Congress threatens to repeal or limit MID will keep potential buyers on the sidelines and further delay the housing recovery.
• Please oppose any efforts to reduce or eliminate the Mortgage Interest Deduction in any future deficit reduction proposals or legislation.
• Thank you for helping to ensure the ongoing recovery of the housing market.
• As a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, I appreciate your belief that home ownership matters.

If you call outside of office hours, please leave a voice mail communicating the message above.Thank you to everyone who has called so far- just click this link to get connected.
