AVOID KEY SERVICE INTERRUPTION!

Supra has sent out reminder letters to all members who have yet to pay their Supra bill. Unpaid key fees will result in the key being deactivated on Nov. 1st. MLSOK no longer accepts payments please contact Supra directly with any questions and/or concerns 1-877-699-6787 option 7.

MESSAGE FOR I-PHONE USERS!

Supra is happy to let you know that Apple has approved our updated application and it is available on the App Store. All members who use eKEY for iPhone will receive a notification on their phone, telling them that the new version is available. It is important that all eKEY for iPhone users upgrade to the latest eKEY version.

Now that the new eKEY application is available, you should experience no issues with updating your iPhone Operating System software (iOS5), which is being released yesterday by Apple.

SUPRA WILL NOW BE BILLING YOU DIRECT!

To reduce administrative costs MLSOK will no longer be billing for your lockbox key/lockbox service. You will now pay Supra direct for your key service effective October 1st. PLEASE NOTE that you will still turn in your boxes to MLSOK and MLSOK will still offer support for your key but effective October you will pay Supra direct for your service and all billing issues and lost key or boxes will he handled by Supra. You will receive an invoice for your annual service from Supra within the next 4 weeks. You will also receive new key-holder agreements which must be returned to MLSOK. Supra will do monthly billing for e-key and e-pro holders; active key key-holders will need to pay for the year (12 months of service- $300) by October 1st. Save money by converting NOW! There will be no transfer fee to put our key on your smartphone during the transition and using your phone entitles you to monthly billing.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD SAFARI LION UPGRADE

The Safari Lion upgrade is not compatible with IDS, our MAC/Apple solution.

ActiveKey Caution!

Extreme Temperature can affect battery performance. If the ActiveKEY is above 104°F (40°C), or is below 32°F(0°C)it will not charge. When the battery level is low, the ActiveKEY alerts you by emitting two short buzz tones.

OKCMAR and MLSOK OFFICES CLOSED INDEPENDENCE DAY

Please be aware the OKCMAR and MLSOK offices will be closed Saturday, July 2nd and Monday, July 4th. We will reopen for our normal hours on Tuesday, July 5th.

NEW OPTION FOR MAC AND IPAD USERS!

MLS is not quite there yet, but there is a new method MLSOK has arranged to access MLS Data that is fully MAC and specifically iPad compatible. Go to www.centraloklahomaproperties.com on the bottom right of the page click Members Only. Enter your MLS ID and password, click Login and on the next screen on the top is a link to the Data Coop. This is not access to the actual MLS, but is all the data for MLSOK and Tulsa that can be queried and viewed with most browsers and is specifically iPad compatible as well. This does not give access to Add/Edit or any other MLS specific tools, but is another way to view data on other browsers until MLS conversion to MAC is complete.

This allows staff to get home safely! Staff will be available via email until 5:00pm and the MLS calls will be transferred to the answering service available till 9pm.

Create a Tempo 5 shortcut on your desktop by following these simple steps:

1. Launch Internet Explorer and type in the URL for your Tempo 5 site in the address field and log into Tempo 5.

2. At the Tempo 5 HomePage, click File on the Internet Explorer tool bar and then select Send.

3. Select Shortcut to Desktop. From that point forward, just click on the Tempo 5 shortcut instead of Internet Explorer when you want to open Tempo 5.

Note: AOL users must still connect using AOL and minimize the AOL browser first.

Congratulations to OAR for their phenomenal work in getting this legislation passed for all of us in the state. It was wonderful to witness the OAR and OKCMAR's Legislative, Green Resource Council and Gennext committees working together to improve the professionalism, technology and green practices in our state. This passage serves as proof of the value of our state dues and what can be accomplished with the power we share together in making a difference. Now that we accomplished our goal, members are excited about the new technologies that are available to them. The MLSOK R&D committee is meeting next Friday to see demos from the various e-signature vendors and to develop a distribution and training plan. You can purchase e-signature packages now from Transaction Desk with a link from our Transaction Desk system in the MLS. The committee will be asked to work on mapping fields so that Transaction Desk forms autopopulate to the maximum efficiency. Ala Mode, one of our affiliate partners, is an easy to use e-signature product that can be utilized with Transaction Desk. We also encourage you to review the NAR product Docusign, as you recall Docusign assisted MLSOK through sponsorship of our conference and through presentations to our membership and key government officials. MLSOK has no official endorsement of a specific product and encourages the member to review all three and make the best choice for their business.

MLSOK Weather Update

POSSIBLE MLSOK CLOSING! The weather report is calling for another day of 6-12 inches of snow and potentially dangerous roads and road closures. If the OKC public schools are closed tomorrow or Wed Feb. 8th or 9th MLSOK and OKCMAR will not open. MLSOK staff will be available via email or by leaving a message with the answering service.

New Educational opportunity
designed just for you!

MLSOK and OKCMAR is offering a new monthly class designed with the assistant role in services in mind. Share this with your Broker's and/or Employing Associate for permission to attend.

This class will be a bring your brown bag 'Lunch and Learn' one hour class and will focus on streamlining the things you do on a daily basis. The first class is on the MLS add/edit functions and will cover best practices for auto-populate, field definitions and help descriptions to make entry easier.

The first meeting is scheduled Wednesday, January 12th 2011 at 12:00 - 1:00 pm. There is no charge for these classes but please register here so materials and accommodations can be made ready and available for the hour scheduled.

Classes will be held at the OKCMAR offices at 3131 NW Expressway, OKC 73112. They will be held in the R-Store or a classroom upstairs dependent on the response and need.

Come one, come all and bring your suggestions for future subjects you would like covered in these meetings! I look forward to seeing each and every one of you and hope this becomes an invaluable tool to you and those that you directly serve in your capacities.
