GoMLSOK is able to be used on iOS devices (iPhone and iPad) as well as Android devices. We are still in the development stages of the product and looking at a December 1st launch date.

Once we go live with the product, we will offer training classes. Look for more details to come.

Alert on Fusion Windows 8 Printing Issue

Windows 8 Printing with Flash 11.9.900.117

IMPORTANT MESSAGE – PLEASE READ

This week’s release of Flash Player 11.9.900 has introduced an issue when printing reports in Fusion. The issue causes no text to print, and only prints the image. Issue affects all versions of Fusion running on Windows 8 with IE10 and Flash Player v11.9.900


Several workarounds have been identified until this issue is resolved:

• Use alternate browser instead of IE10 such as: Google Chrome, Safari or Firefox

• When printing, use the Print Preview option, then click Print from the preview window

• When printing, use the Print to PDF option – then click Print from within PDF viewer

• Uninstall the latest version of Flash Player and install previous version from Adobe Help Site.

Attention MLS Users!

Microsoft is expected to release Windows 8.1, which uses a new version of Internet Explorer 11, on October 17th, 2013.



Until CoreLogic has certified that IE11 is fully compatible with its MLS systems, we recommend that you do not install Windows 8.1. (Windows 8 does not support earlier, certified versions of Internet Explorer, unfortunately.)



Windows 8.1 is NOT an "automatic update" but it could come pre-installed with a new computer purchase. Windows 8.1 would also be available through an upgrade to your current Windows 8 system which you would need to install. Microsoft informs us that in all cases you will know 8.1 is installed. To reiterate, 8.1 WILL NOT be installed without your knowledge.





If you choose to do so, the only version of Internet Explorer you will be able to use is IE11 in which you will encounter issues accessing MLS.



We will notify you when Corelogic has certified that IE11 is fully compatible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Broker Relationship Act

Due to the new Broker Relationship Act going into effect on November 1 (you can view the new law HERE), we have updated several of our TransactionDesk forms to be compliant. They will be available for your use on or before November 1, 2013.


We are offering some one hour training sessions that will go over the form changes so you can stay informed.

After receiving several requests, these classes have now been opened up to all of our members versus only brokers.

Chrome Export Issues for Realist Users

While Google Chrome is not an officially supported browser for Realist, many have successfully accessed Realist using it for some time.

 

Unfortunately, Google’s recent release of Chrome Version 29.0.1547.66 m introduced an issue that causes Realist exports, labels and assessor maps not to display on the download window.

 

We are pleased to report the problem can be solved by following the steps below.

 

Resolution

Upon completion of the following steps, Chrome will display Realist downloads in their normal manner:

 

      1.       Start Chrome, type “chrome://plugins” into the Chrome address bar, and press enter.

 

2.       If a plus sign appears on the right side by Details, click it to display all details.

 

3.       Find the plug-in for PepperFlash.

 

4.       Click the Disable option.

 

Once the PepperFlash plugin is disabled, Realist will use Adobe Flash.  If you do not have Adobe Flash installed you may be prompted to install Adobe Flash.

Attention Supra Lockbox KeyHolder

We are currently performing our annual lockbox audit. At this time, our lockbox program is as follows: You are allowed to have up to 120% of your active/pending listings in lockboxes. We will be contacting members over the next month or so that are over the limit and ask that they return the extra lockboxes to replenish our diminishing supply. We have always provided lockboxes to our Supra users at no additional cost and of course wish to continue this in the future. However, we are running dangerously low on our supply of lockboxes. In order to continue the lockbox program at no additional cost, we need your support in our efforts to replenish our supply.

 

Please be proactive in taking an inventory and returning any extra lockboxes you may have. If you receive an email with the amount of lockboxes to be returned, you will have thirty days from the date of the email to do so. Any unreturned lockboxes at that point will result in the member being charged at a rate of $100.00 per lockbox as we will consider those lockboxes lost. If you have any questions, please call the MLSOK Help Desk at 405-841-5353.

 

NOTE: This post does NOT necessarily mean you need to return lockboxes. If you are required to return lockboxes, you will be notified by a separate email with the amount of lockboxes to be returned.

MLS Recovery Update

On behalf of your MLS Board and Staff, our hearts reach out to our REALTOR® families that have been affected by the storm. While taking care of human needs is by far the most essential task, we have been anticipating your business needs that will arise in the weeks to come. Realist Status – Updated Listing Photos Status

As planned, access to MLS photos was restored on Saturday evening. Photos were fully accessible.



Unfortunately, early Monday morning, the storage sub-system detected a corruption and the photos are unavailable once again.


The technical team diagnosed that problem and service is being restored now. We anticipate that photos will be accessible again on or before 1:30 PM Eastern / 10:30 AM Pacific.


We are very sorry for the continued inconvenience this is causing you and your members and thank you for your patience.

Realist News!

Realist Status – Listing Photos Update


As previously communicated, the storage sub-system supporting MLS photos has been removed from our production environment in order to return user access to Realist.


Since that point in time, our technical teams have been working closely with our system vendors. We are currently conducting a series of load and performance tests before we re-introduce the storage sub-system back into our production environment.

We anticipate that access to photos will resume on Sunday and will be able to confirm this tomorrow afternoon upon conclusion of the above mentioned testing.

Realist services resumed Monday evening, April 1st at approximately 11:30 Eastern.


We monitored the system with special care throughout the night, and will continue to do so.

A few more tasks remain. Updates to MLS and property information need to resume their normal schedule, e-commerce services used by a few MLSs still need to be re-started, and repairs to a few smaller features must be completed. As always, please contact your Realist account specialist directly if you have any specific issues.

We know that many of you have unanswered questions about the outage, and what CoreLogic might have done to prevent or minimize it. We will turn our attention to those important questions quickly, and share our findings with you in due course.

The restoration of Realist service is progressing. The property data is accessible, and we are in the process of restoring user-specific data and mapping services.

MLS and Realist Status Update

We experienced an interruption to services in our data center located in Santa Ana, CA. The outage began Sunday morning March 31st and arose from a failure in the data center’s core cooling system. The failure circumvented system redundancy, and triggered the automatic shutdown of all main and backup system activity.


The cooling system failure was remedied Sunday afternoon and the company enacted its comprehensive recovery process, deploying a dedicated team of experts working around the clock to restore full services.

However, challenges to service restoration remain. We are working diligently to resume normal services as soon as possible. We will remain in contact with you until the outage is resolved.

We have received incredible feedback on Realist Mobile since its launch January 28th. To participate in this free service, sign up at Realist. Information is available on the “Message of the Day” on Tempo 5 and/or Fusion.

FUSION RELEASE

A fusion upgrade is scheduled for February 13th. The system will be unavailable from 4:30 AM to 8:30 AM CST. When the release is complete, you will be prompted to accept an End User License Agreement.Those that use Tempo 5 as well will need to reinstall active x controls.
